He Does: Provide strategic direction to the business
He is: Founder of Mabco Trading Entertainment (aka MB Records). Very passionate about music business. A part-time musician. A composer, song writer and arranger. Passionate about empowering young & upcoming artists and entrepreneurs. An engineer. A business man. A leader. A visionary
He Has: Bsc (Mechanical Engineering) degree from UCT and MBA degree from University of Stellenbosch Business School. More than 26 years’ experience in the music industry although he was always part-time. Started his music career in his uncle’s band at the tender age of 14 years. Also started writing and composing songs at the age of 14. Released two albums in the past 10 years. Ability to play some musical instruments. Ability to compose and sing. Performed at one UCT residence Cultural Evening and Concert. Been raised in the music family, with both his parents, uncles and cousins being musicians
Who: Ananias Begwa (AniB)
Position: Music Producer
He does: Studio and Live Recording. Produce Music. Sound Engineering. Live Performance. Play instruments
He is: a Music Genius. Very Creative. Multi-Instruments Player (Piano, Keyboards, Guitars etc.). Passionate about music. Affectionately known as AniB in the music circles
He has: More than more than 28 years’ experience in the music industry with the last 10 years as a full time music producer. An ear for music and able to spot a music talent. Produced more than 50 artists in the past 10 years. Produced all genres. Worked with and produced famous local artists such as David Mmbi, Khakhathi & Friends, Masimbe, Jimmy Netshilulu etc. Produced his fellow colleagues Lawrance and Given
Who: Lawrance Mabaso
Position: Operations Manager
He does: Field Work. Negotiate prices. Assist artists during recording sessions. Live Performance. Backing vocalists. Vocal coaching and training of artists.
He is: A Gospel artist with six albums under his belt. Vocally gifted. A soloist. A performer. A Christian. Very passionate about all kinds of music.
He has: More than 30 years’ experience in the music industry, having started singing from a tender age of 15. Experience of working in a band setup. Experience as a solo artist. Experience in a choral setup. Experience in performing in events such as funerals, weddings, church, parties etc. An understanding of musical notes.

Position: Executive Director
She Does: Marketing Strategy.
She is: Very passionate about marketing. Passionate about Music. Behind the idea of the concept of brand Mabco Trading Entertainment
She Has: Marketing Certificates. Call Centre Certificate. Customer service skills. Experience in call center. Been actively involved in developing different strategies of Mabco Trading Entertainment. Been involved from the beginning of this project.

Position: Office Administrator/ Online & Social Marketing Manager
She Does: First Point of Contact with Clients. Works in the Reception. Run the office administration. Online Marketing. Social Media Marketing. Process Invoices
She is: Customer oriented. Computer Literate. Effective Communicator. Passionate about office admin work. A Good Listener. Affectionately known as Confy. Passionate about music
She Has: Office Administration Diploma. More than 5 years’ experience in Office Administration having done some work in EPWP programmes and community projects
